Baseball Recap: Horn Lake Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Horn Lake's offense. They came up short against the Oxford Chargers on Friday, falling 15-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Horn Lake's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Oxford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Horn Lake will challenge Southaven at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oxford, they will take on Center Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
