After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morgan Township, Hebron was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Westville Blackhawks 4-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hebron also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
Trever Roy was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. Roy was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a stolen base, a double, and an RBI.
Roy wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Pete Socci, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
