            Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Trojans vs. Brackett Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            
Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brackett Tigers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Charlotte wouldn't go down easily and took Brackett into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 20-25, 25-20,  15-9.
 Charlotte lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Gracie Simmons, who  had nine  kills, seven  aces, four  digs,  and two  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Marissa Ramos, who  had seven  aces and five  digs.
Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Brackett, their victory  ended  a  six-match drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-7.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Charlotte is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Sabinal  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brackett will  square off against  rival Stacey  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
