Soccer Recap: Millis Comes Up Short

Millis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northbridge Rams. While losing is never fun, Millis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Northbridge are ranked 25th).

Millis' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Northbridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1-2.

Coming up, Millis will take on Dover-Sherborn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northbridge, they will face off against Dedham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
