Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bridgewater/Emery). They came out on top against the Scotland/Menno Trappers by a score of 75-65 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three contests in a row.

Despite the loss, Scotland/Menno still got an impressive performance from Izayah Ulmer, who posted 21 points and three steals. Those 21 points gave Ulmer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Erick Buechler, who scored eight points and five rebounds.

Bridgewater/Emery's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Scotland/Menno, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bridgewater/Emery will take on Mitchell Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Scotland/Menno, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Viborg/Hurley at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
