Football Recap: Globe Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Globe extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They were outmatched by the Pima Roughriders and fell 42-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 41-0 to the Roughriders when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Even if they lost, Globe's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Greyson Kruger with two.

As for Pima, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Considering they have won three contests by more than 41 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pima's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joe Palmer, who rushed for 82 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries. Those 82 rushing yards gave Palmer a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Rooster Alder, who rushed for 130 yards and one score on only 14 carries.

Globe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-21 victory against Arete Prep on the 10th. As for Pima, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-6 win against Morenci on the 10th.
