Soccer Recap: Monarch vs. Skyline
Monarch had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They beat the Skyline Falcons by a goal, winning 2-1. Even though the Coyotes got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( George Behringer was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Pierce Willbanks scored both of Monarch's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Monarch will take on Frederick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will face off against Broomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
