Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Emma Bailey stepped things up a notch to give Brevard the 'W'. Bailey was dynamite, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

Bailey and Brevard will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against R-S Central at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
