Volleyball Recap: Port Gibson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Amite County on Monday, Port Gibson came back down to earth. The Blue Waves lost 3-0 to the Franklin County Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Blue Waves have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Port Gibson's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Franklin County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Gibson will welcome McComb at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin County, they will challenge West Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
