Basketball Recap: Bonny Eagle Comes Up Short

Bonny Eagle lost against Lewiston back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bonny Eagle Scots took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewiston Blue Devils. The Scots just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Bonny Eagle's record now sits at 1-15. As for Lewiston, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-14 record.

Bonny Eagle and Lewiston could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings. Bonny Eagle (ranked 116th) will meet Biddeford (ranked 16th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lewiston will take on Cheverus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 82 places (101 vs. 19).
