Volleyball Recap: Mccallum's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

McCallum lost against Churchill back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Piper Adair paced McCallum's offense, picking up six kills. Adair got some help from Lexi Rosenblatt and her seven assists. Finally, Sienna Martens kept McCallum's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Sofia Sedano was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, McCallum fell to 4-1. As for Churchill, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

McCallum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Gatesville on the 15th. As for Churchill, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against El Paso Leadership Academy East on the 15th.
