Softball Game Preview: Georgetown Bulldogs vs. Waccamaw Warriors

The Georgetown Bulldogs will take on the Waccamaw Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Georgetown will be strutting in after a victory while Waccamaw will be coming in after a loss.

Georgetown took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Andrews.

Meanwhile, Waccamaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to Conway.

Addison Stewart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Waccamaw, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Georgetown took their win against Waccamaw in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 21-0 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
