Softball Recap: Webb Takes a Loss

Webb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-4 to the Chattanooga Christian Chargers. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Terralyn Hill and Jeneva Mitchell stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hill went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, while Mitchell went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Webb's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Chattanooga Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-10.

Coincidentally, Webb and Chattanooga Christian will both be playing Knoxville Catholic the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Fighting Irish at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Chargers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
