Avon won the last time they faced Platt and things went their way on Monday too. The Falcons blew past the Panthers 15-2. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Avon has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. As for Platt, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coming up, Avon will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Lewis Mills at 3:45 p.m. As for Platt, they will head out to challenge Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Redcoats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
