Volleyball Recap: Leeton Takes a Loss

Leeton lost against Archie last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Whirlwinds, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-8, 25-7.

Leading Archie to victory were Madison Wilson and Reagan Tenholder. Wilson had 17 assists and two aces, while Tenholder hit 87.5% for 14 kills and nine aces and three digs. Tenholder has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 42 times she's played. Eliza Macrander also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Leeton's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Archie, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4-1.

As of now, neither Leeton nor the Whirlwinds have any future games scheduled.
