Soccer Recap: Fox Tech Takes a Loss

Fox Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brackenridge Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Fox Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Brackenridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Coming up, Fox Tech will square off against Sam Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fox Tech will be up against Sam Houston's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.29 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brackenridge, they will face off against Lanier at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Lanier's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
