After a string of seven wins, London's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Jonathan Alder Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While London ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-17, 25-18.

London's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Riley Cremeens, who had 23 digs and one assist, and Anna Sims, who had 23 assists. Cremeens has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Bryn Trimble, who had 13 digs.

Leading Jonathan Alder to victory were Raegan Tremayne and Anna Hayes. Tremayne had seven digs and two aces, while Hayes had eight assists. That's the most aces Tremayne has posted over her last six matchups.

London's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Jonathan Alder, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

London wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bellefontaine on the 9th. As for Jonathan Alder, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Tecumseh on the 9th.
