Basketball Recap: Wisconsin Lutheran Comes Up Short

Wisconsin Lutheran lost against Pius XI Catholic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings received a blow as they fell 57-39 to the Pius XI Catholic Popes.

Wisconsin Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Pius XI Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Wisconsin Lutheran and Pius XI Catholic should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Wisconsin Lutheran will square off against West Allis Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 328 places (35 vs. 363). Wisconsin Lutheran is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Pius XI Catholic (ranked 22nd) will meet South Milwaukee (ranked 423rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
