Baseball Recap: Tulpehocken Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Tulpehocken was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell 6-2 to the Hamburg Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 back in April.

Tulpehocken saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Snyder, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Tulpehocken and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Hamburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Tulpehocken will head out to challenge Annville-Cleona at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamburg, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Northwestern Lehigh at 4:00 p.m. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
