Football Recap: Raymond Comes Up Short

Raymond played against Mascoma on Saturday and lost via forfeit.

This is the second loss in a row for Raymond and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-1 Hillsboro-Deering (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 85.7% over those games). As for Mascoma, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Raymond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mascoma, they will face off against Hillsboro-Deering on Saturday. The Royals will need to watch out since the Hillcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
