Volleyball Recap: Trego Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last eight times Trego and Oakley had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainsmen on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Plainsmen recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10.

Trego now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oakley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Trego and Oakley will both be playing Plainville the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will host the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Plainsmen will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
