Softball Recap: South Tahoe Comes Up Short

The South Tahoe Vikings lost 8-1 to the Santa Cruz Cardinals on Saturday.

South Tahoe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haylee Boring, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

South Tahoe dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Santa Cruz, they moved to 1-1 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

South Tahoe has already played their next contest, a 12-10 loss against Greenfield on the 1st. As for Santa Cruz, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Watsonville on the 1st.
