Basketball Game Preview: Pass Christian Pirates vs. Poplarville Hornets

The Pass Christian Pirates will challenge the Poplarville Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pass Christian has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 15.

Last Monday, Pass Christian came up short against Raymond and fell 38-31.

Meanwhile, Poplarville played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Moss Point, falling 41-17. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Poplarville's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pass Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Pass Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Poplarville in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 40-35 win.
