Football Recap: Davison Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Davison put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 31-14 victory over the Traverse City Central Trojans. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Trojans are ranked 107th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Davison's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyanthony Lewis, who rushed for 119 yards and two TDs on only seven carries. Those 119 rushing yards gave Lewis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Garris, who rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown.

Davison's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Traverse City Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Davison will face off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Cardinals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Traverse City Central, they will challenge Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Oilers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
