Basketball Game Preview: South Atlanta Hornets vs. Gordon Lee Trojans

Having just played yesterday, the South Atlanta Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Gordon Lee Trojans at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

South Atlanta is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 90-30 loss at the hands of Coahulla Creek. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Colts are ranked 231st).

Meanwhile, Gordon Lee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 52-45 win over the Panthers.

Gordon Lee now has a winning record of 6-5. As for South Atlanta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
