Basketball Recap: Mabel-Canton Takes a Loss

Mabel-Canton lost against Kingsland back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mabel-Canton Cougars took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingsland Knights.

Mabel-Canton's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kingsland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Mabel-Canton will be home for the holidays to greet Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mabel-Canton is facing Wabasha-Kellogg at the right time seeing as Wabasha-Kellogg is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kingsland, they are taking a road trip to challenge Southland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Southland will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Kingsland surely won't give up without a fight.
