While Crest Ridge's victory against Lone Jack wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mules 5-3. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Mules recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Crest Ridge's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lone Jack, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Crest Ridge will venture away from home to face off against Concordia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Orioles will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lone Jack, they will head out to take on Adrian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
