The Pitman Pride will venture away from home to challenge the Gregori Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Pitman took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 31-24 victory over Enochs. Mason Helwick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 265 yards and two scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 112.4 rushing yards per game. Rj Wilharm also deserves a shout-out for his two TDs.

Pitman better focus on containing Jkai Ramos and JJ Brawley as the pair were huge in Gregori's win. Ramos rushed for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Brawley rushed for 50 yards and one score. Ramos showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Gregori's defense and their three sacks. Gavin Aguiar was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is becoming a predictor of Gregori's success: when he posts at least one sack the team is 2-1 (and 1-5 when he doesn't). Noah Wegner got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Gregori's record now sits at 3-6. As for Pitman, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
