Basketball Recap: Rosedale Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Rosedale Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 68-53 fall against the Prince George's Christian Academy Blue Flyers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Flyers this season, with their most recent loss being a 75-48 defeat back in January.

Prince George's Christian Academy Blue's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wisdom Carter, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 14 points. What's more, Carter also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nasir Slater, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points.

Rosedale Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-24. As for Prince George's Christian Academy Blue, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.

Coming up, Rosedale Christian Academy will square off against Sandy Spring Friends at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prince George's Christian Academy Blue, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-68 victory against Springdale Prep on the 14th.
