Basketball Game Preview: Lincolnwood Lancers vs. Roxana Shells

The Lincolnwood Lancers will face off against the Roxana Shells at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lincolnwood saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a hard 54-35 fall against Liberty. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 597th, while the Eagles are ranked 221st).

Meanwhile, Roxana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Carrollton 65-28. The Shells were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Roxana's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lincolnwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
