Recap: Ranburne Bulldogs vs. Wadley Bulldogs
There's no place like home for the Ranburne Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Wadley 58-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Frisco Robertson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Jaquez Wilkes was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
The win got Ranburne back to even at 3-3. As for Wadley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ranburne will challenge Randolph County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wadley, they will head out on the road to face off against Alabama School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th.
