Baseball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

There's no place like home for Tri-West Hendricks, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Westville Tigers on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Jackson Catt, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Sorgi, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Tri-West Hendricks is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Westville, they moved to 21-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
