Basketball Recap: Pauls Valley Takes a Loss

Pauls Valley was the 45-30 winner over Lindsay when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pauls Valley Panthers took a 40-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lindsay Leopards on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Leopards are ranked 63rd).

Pauls Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lindsay, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Pauls Valley will welcome Sulphur at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindsay, they will venture away from home to take on Purcell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
