If Allatoona was feeling good fresh off their 85-44 takedown of Sonoraville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Allatoona Buccaneers took a 69-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paulding County Patriots. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Sebastien Okullo had a dynamite game for Paulding County, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards. Those 19 points gave Okullo a new career-high. George Shumpert was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Allatoona's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Paulding County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.
