The Billings Senior Broncs will square off against the Big Sky Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Billings Senior knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Big Sky likes a good challenge.
Billings Senior is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Skyview, who was ranked 14th at the time (Billings Senior was ranked second). The Broncs never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Broncs have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Riley Tryan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ivy Runsabove was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Octavia Meyer was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Billings Senior kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Big Sky had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 10-6.
Big Sky got a big performance out of Logan Latrielle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Aubrey Bykari also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Billings Senior's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Big Sky, their record is now 8-1.
Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Billings Senior has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .529. However, it's not like Big Sky struggles in that department as they've averaged .507. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
