Amani Francisco leads a balanced attack to beat Gilbert Classical Academy

The Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Gilbert Classical Academy on Tuesday as Leading Edge Academy - GEC made off with a 71-49 victory. The victory was just what Leading Edge Academy - GEC needed coming off of a 75-42 defeat in their prior contest.
Leading Edge Academy - GEC got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amani Francisco out in front who scored 14 points. Samuel Sutherland was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Leading Edge Academy - GEC is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Leading Edge Academy - GEC is on the road again on Friday and play against San Tan Charter at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
