Basketball Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston suffered their biggest defeat since December 19, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Lamar Warriors and fell 83-51. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Lamar's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Green, who posted 22 points. Ben Noonan was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Lamar, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lamar, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-47 win against Cossatot River on the 14th.
