Pender lost to Aquinas back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Pendragons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Monarchs.

Kaylee Schroeder paced Pender's offense, picking up eight kills. Schroeder got some help from Hadley Walsh and her 19 assists. Finally, Schroeder was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Pender is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Aquinas, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

Pender has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Humphrey-Lindsay on the 4th. As for Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Norfolk Catholic on the 7th.
