Basketball Recap: Hale Takes a Loss

Hale suffered their closest defeat since January 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hillman Tigers by a score of 48-45. The Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Hillman found their leader in sophomore Ty Muszynski, who went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Muszynski continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Rouleau, who posted 11 points.

Hale's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Hillman, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hale has already played their next contest (against Posen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hillman will look to defend their home court on Friday against Atlanta at 7:15 p.m.
