Baseball Recap: Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Takes a Loss

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 19-3 to the Leto Falcons. The Phoenix were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe DiCecco, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's record is now 1-19. As for Leto, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate will host Shorecrest Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leto, they will welcome Chamberlain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Storm at the right time seeing as the Storm are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
