After losing to West Bend East the last time they met, Waukesha West decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolverines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Suns on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

When it comes to explaining why West Bend East lost, don't look at Sami Weber. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and one assist. Piper Brise also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Waukesha West's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for West Bend East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
