Soccer Recap: Fayette Ware Comes Up Short

Fayette Ware was the 1-0 winner over Haywood when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tomcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Fayette Ware's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-8-3. As for Haywood, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11-1.

As of now, neither Fayette Ware nor the Tomcats have any future games scheduled.
