Round Valley had won eight straight road games and Skyler Hevener did her part to make it nine on Thursday. The Elks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hopi Bruins for which the team can thank Hevener, who had eight digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted three or more aces the last six times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Round Valley was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-7.

Round Valley's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Hopi, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Round Valley nor Hopi have any future games scheduled.
