Basketball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Covina Colts. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vikings have suffered against the Colts since December 22, 2022.

Despite the loss, Northview saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jakob Ramos posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Dominguez, who earned six points.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Covina, their victory bumped their record up to 10-16.

Northview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-43 loss against Wilson on the 3rd. As for Covina, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-54 win against Charter Oak on the 3rd.
