Volleyball Game Preview: Central Lancers vs. Northeast Vikings

The Central Lancers will head out to square off against the Northeast Vikings at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Central has now lost seven straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since May 16.

Central lost 3-0 to Academy at Palumbo on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Northeast came up short against Abington on Monday and fell 3-1.

While Northeast had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Central suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Northeast in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
