Baseball Recap: Redondo Union Gets the Win

Redondo Union won the last time they faced Mira Costa and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sea Hawks walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sea Hawks.

Jack Green tossed a big game, tossing 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Taehan Kim was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Keiji Hattori, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Redondo Union's record now sits at 15-11. As for Mira Costa, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

Redondo Union will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
