Basketball Recap: Jordan Finds Playoff Glory Versus Hamilton

It's playoff time, and Jordan had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Hamilton Yankees 68-48 on Thursday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Michael Gooden, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 15 boards. What's more, he posted four blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ty Mitchell, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points and seven assists.

Jordan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.8 points. Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 12-17.

Coming up, Jordan will take on Narbonne at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jordan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Narbonne likes a good challenge. Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
