Basketball Game Preview: Grant Park Dragons vs. Tri-Valley Vikings

The Grant Park Dragons and the Tri-Valley Vikings will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.

Grant Park's tournament run continued when they took on Momence on Tuesday. The Dragons had to suffer through a 68-28 loss at the hands of the Momence Athletics. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dragons have suffered against the Momence Athletics since February 9, 2022.

Grant Park might have lost, but man, Cameron Becker was a machine: he dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Tri-Valley not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 26, 2024 (when they won 64-15). They blew past Dwight, posting a 72-29 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Grant Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
