Beatrice had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Auburn Bulldogs by a score of 7-4 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Orangemen in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Kale Koch, who went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Austin Baldwin, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
