Basketball Game Preview: Valley Christian Panthers vs. Pateros Billygoats/Nannies

The Valley Christian Panthers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pateros Billygoats/Nannies at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Valley Christian faced off against Odessa on Friday. Valley Christian took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Odessa.

Meanwhile, Pateros waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed by the Eagles to the tune of 65-31. The Billygoats/Nannies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Pateros, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Valley Christian took a serious blow against Pateros when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 64-37. Can Valley Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
